Georges III Vineyard is one of the oldest and most storied vineyards in alll of Napa Valley. Planted in 1895 by Mrs. Thomas Rutherford, the 300- acre parcel was first purchased by Georges de Latour in 1928. It was the home of the greats Rutherford Cabernets made by the famous Andre Tcheslistcheff for Beaulieu Winery. Since 1988 the vineyard has been owned by the Beckstoffer Family.
The 2021 vintage was a welcome return to “normalcy” after a challenging 2020 vintage. Our Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep purple and full-bodied wine with concentrated notes of dark fruit, cocoa powder, and hints of graphite. A young and robust tannin structure frames this wine to a rich and lingering finish.
